He brought you forth from the earth and settled you therein, then ask forgiveness of Him and turn to Him in repentance. Certainly, my Lord is Near (to all by His Knowledge), Responsive."

It is not permissible for the Muslims

Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allaah have mercy on him) said:

“It is not permissible for the Muslims to attend the festivals of the mushrikeen, according to the consensus of the scholars whose words carry weight.
The fuqaha’ who follow the four schools of thought have stated this clearly in their books.”
Al-Bayhaqi narrated with a saheeh isnaad from ‘Umar ibn al-Khattaab Radiyallahu Anhu that he said:

“Do not enter upon the mushrikeen in their churches on the day of their festival, for divine wrath is descending upon them.” And ‘Umar Radiyallahu Anhu also said:
“Avoid the enemies of Allaah on their festivals.”

Sahih al-Bukhari » Good Manners and Form (Al-Adab)

 Narrated 'Aisha:

A man asked permission to enter upon the Prophet. When the Prophet (ﷺ) saw him, he said, "What an evil brother of his tribe! And what an evil son of his tribe!" When that man sat down, the Prophet (ﷺ) behaved with him in a nice and polite manner and was completely at ease with him.

When that person had left, 'Aisha said (to the Prophet). "O Allah's Apostle! When you saw that man, you said so-and-so about him, then you showed him a kind and polite behavior, and you enjoyed his company?"

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "O 'Aisha! Have you ever seen me speaking a bad and dirty language? (Remember that) the worst people in Allah's sight on the Day of Resurrection will be those whom the people leave (undisturbed) to be away from their evil (deeds)."

May God bless and safe those muslims brother and sisters out there

May God bless and safe those muslims brother and sisters out there during prayer......

“Saying that Allah (SWT) is your God is not enough and not worthy from a Muslim. A Believer will worship His God by praying. A Muslim will fill His heart by the words of Allah (SWT) in the Quran.

How many of you have claimed to be Muslim and have already opened the Quran just once in their lifetime? Enough of people who claim to be Muslim and never been on their kneels to worship Him and making sujood…

Enough! Stop setting the bad example, the wrong example for the next generation.

Islam is such a beautiful religion, it´s the greatest treasure that Our Prophet Muhammad (SAW) have sent us and we should protect it, Islam is gold. It is enough brutalized, distorted by the media.

Either you properly follow the Sunnah or you are not among what we call Muslims. May Allah (SWT) guide us into the straight path In sha Allah.”

Celebrating the New Year .....

 Celebrating the New Year .....

January is named after Janus, the Roman god of doors and gateways. He was commonly depicted in statues, carvings and paintings as a two headed man with one head facing forward and the other head facing backwards. In 46BC Julius Caesar chose January 1st as the first day of the New Year as Janus symbolically represented the door to the New Year. Wild parties and orgies were held on the night before the New Year’s Day as a re-enactment of the chaos which Roman mythology depicted as preceding the cosmos or the ordered world whose organization was set by the gods. Furthermore, by that time, Janus had become, in practice, the highest god receiving the ritual sacrifices of Roman worshippers before the other gods, including the chief god, Jupiter.

Thus, in its essence the celebrations of the New Year on January 1st and New Year’s Eve, the night before, are a part and parcel of pagan religious rituals based on idolatrous beliefs in false gods. Consequently, it is completely Haraam (sinful and forbidden) for Muslims to participate in or adopt any of its related rituals, customs and symbols.

If a non-Muslim greets a Muslim, “Happy New Year”, the Muslim is not allowed to respond in a similar manner or say, “Same to you.” Instead, in order not to offend or hurt the feelings of non-Muslim friends or acquaintances, one may say instead, “Happy holiday.

As for celebrating the New Year according to the Islamic calendar which begins with the month of Muharram, this is also not permissible from a number of perspectives. First and foremost, if one does so believing that it is pleasing to Allah to do so, thereby transforming it into an act of worship, it becomes a Bid‘ahor cursed innovation in the religion about which the Prophet (pbuh) said, “Every innovation in religion is misguidance and all misguidance leads to the Hellfire.” If one does so merely as a custom, it is still impermissible as it falls under the prohibition of imitation of pagan customs about which the Prophet (pbuh) said, “Whoever imitates a people becomes one of them.”

[1] Pope Gregory 13th who set the modern calendar, the Gregorian calendar, also officially fixed the first day of the year for Christian Europe as January 1st in 1582.

We talk way too much

Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “He who believes in Allah and the Last Day must either speak good or remain silent.”

Note for us :-
We talk way too much. If we have nothing good to say, better to not say anything at all.

Si lelaki Inggeris menjawab: "Wow Islam is Amazing...”

As advice for ourselves and yourselves

Assalamu alaikom wa rahmatullahi wa barakathu. As advice for ourselves and yourselves, a brief reminder that as Muslims we must follow the manners of the the Prophet s.a.w and be of noble character. Although our hatred for the Shia is high, politicians in country, any muslims and others we must never compromise on our character and use such filthy words.

Just a reminder dear brothers and sisters on social media to refrain from using obscene words as we fear that Allah may withhold victory from us because of this.

May Allah forgive us all.

Imitating non-Muslims and the celebration of the New Year

Imitating non-Muslims and the celebration of the New Year

Anas ibn Maalik  may  Allaah  be  pleased  with  him said: "The Prophet  sallallaahu  `alayhi  wa  sallam ( may  Allaah exalt his mention ) arrived in Madeenah while people were celebrating two particular festivals, so he  sallallaahu  `alayhi  wa  sallam ( may  Allaah exalt his mention ) asked: “What is (the significance of) these two days?” Some people replied: ‘They are days which we used to celebrate during the pre-Islamic era.’ So the Messenger  sallallaahu  `alayhi  wa  sallam ( may  Allaah exalt his mention ) replied: “Allaah has replaced them for you with two days which are better, the day of ‘Eed Al-Fitr and ‘Eed Al-Adh-haa”" [Abu Daawood]. Therefore, it is not permissible for a Muslim to celebrate New Year, because is it not one of the celebrations of the Muslims.

Muslim merchants and traders must not participate in any aspect of celebrating this day; they should not imitate the Christian merchants in the types of merchandise they sell during this period and they should refrain from decorating their shops with special lights and other kinds of decorations to commemorate this occasion.

May Allah guide us to the right path.

Learn to be quiet

By being quiet, you attain two characteristics: you are able to take knowledge from those more knowledgeable than you and you are able to repel the ignorance of those more ignorant than you.”

Why Jazakallah?

Why Jazakallah?

As can be imagined by Muslimah’s mingling and talking, we dont use use much of  ‘Thank You’ and rather say ‘Jazakallah’ even for the smallest imaginable help. This caught attention of one of my non-muslim friends and dare I say some of my Muslim friends as well who knew this word existed but never thought of its meaning, until now.
“Why Jazakallah Maryam ? Couldn’t you just say ‘Thank you’ ? Whats so special about it ?’ was the question raised by her. My heart broke into all smiles, what a wonderful opportunity of explaining yet an another trait of Islam. “It means the same as ‘Thank you’ does, only much better’. I replied.  ‘Why would you say that ?’ she asked with a frown on her face .. ‘Well !! The beauty of this word lies in understand its meaning.’ I continued..

‘When we say ‘Thank you’, we obviously intend to let others know how much we appreciate their help. And thats the end of story. But there more to it with Jazakallah Khairun. When we utter this word, we imply not only that we appreciate your help, but also that we dont believe we could ever repay you for the help you offered and leave it on our Lord Allah to reward you with the very best’.

WOW ..!!! That’s a real good thought. Definitely more than a mere ‘Thank you’ … Wanna grab a cup of coffee’ and there we went.
What fascinates me the most is by what amount your deeds/actions could grab someone’s attention. Turns out 6 out of 10 reverts were spellbound with Islam by simply observing Muslim’s practicing Islam, which ultimately led them to embrace Islam and discover its beauty on their own. Who knows, Maybe someday Inshallah we would guide someone back to Islam as well (Ameen), the reward of which would be of utmost importance in this world and in the hereafter.

Allāh has angels who roam the roads, seeking out those who remember Him

This, among thousands of other ahadith, truly melts the heart and makes tear fall from your eyes. Indeed, this is a very beneficial, motivating and beautiful hadith.
If you are struggling, facing a big problem, or even if you are happy or just achieved something, I urge you to please spare some time and read this, it will give such ease in your heart, that no other success in this world can give you or no hardship can ever make you shun away from Him if such is known by your mind and heart.
_____

Allāh has angels who roam the roads, seeking out those who remember Him. So, if they find those who remember Allāh;

They call out; ‘come see what you’re looking for!’ and the Angels encircle them with their wings up to the sky.

Then, their Lord asks them- though He Knows better than them- ‘What do My slaves say?’
The Angels reply: 'They say: subhan'Allāh, Allāhu'Akbar, and Alhamdulillāh.'
Allāh then says: ‘Did they see Me?’
The Angels reply: 'No! By Allāh, they didn't see You.'
Allāh says: "How it would have been if they saw Me?’
The Angels reply: 'If they saw You, they would worship You more devoutly and praise You more, and declare Your freedom from any resemblance to anything more often.'
Allāh will say: 'What do they ask Me for?'
The Angels reply: ‘They ask You for Paradise.’
Allāh says: ‘Did they see it?’
The Angels say: ‘No! By Allaah, O Lord! They didn’t see it.’
Allāh says: ‘How it would have been if they saw it?’
The Angels say: 'If they saw it, they would have greater desire for it, and would seek it with greater zeal.'

Allāh says: 'From what do they seek refuge?'
The Angels reply: 'They seek refuge from the Fire.'
Allāh says: 'Did they see it?'
The Angels say: 'If they saw it, they would flee from it swiftly, and would have extreme fear of it.'

Then, Allāh says: 'I make you witnesses that I have Forgiven them.'

One of the Angels would then say: 'There was such and such a person amongst them, and he was not one of them. Rather, he had just come for some need of his.'
Allāh would then say: ‘These are people whose companions will not be saddened.’”

______
Subhan’Allāh! Look at how Allāh rewards those who remember Him? and how Merciful He is towards them? Wouldn’t such hadīth urge us to be better, one who always remembers Him, because when we always remember Him, we are being conscious of our acts and deeds, that we need also be prompt and constantly praying our 5 times daily salāh.

Indeed, it all starts from the heart (niyyah) then the mouth (dhikr and abstaining form evil utterance of words) then the hands (zakat, sadaqah, helpin, etc) then the whole body (falling down bowing and in prostration unto Him).

Isn’t that beautiful? To be told by the Angel to Allāh that You remember Him and in return Allāh rewards you of His Forgiveness? Allāhu’Akbar!

And aren’t such people the best of companions to have in this dunya? That with their righteousness we are also by His Love and Blessing for such people we are also being showered by His Mercy?

So please realize that with little utterance of praising and glorifying Him, we are bestowed upon with His infinite Mercy and Love. Subhan’Allāh!
So what are you still complaining for?
_____

Subhan’Allāh! May Allāh grant and bless us with righteous companions that will help us become better Muslims, that would understand our struggles and encourage us always to enjoin what is good and forbid what is evil, and at the end we ask Allāh that He makes us a rightful companion to our friends, fellow Muslims and to our family. in sha Allāh!
