Prayers for the dead

Prayers for the Dead
(A Quranic Perspective)

In the Quran, God prohibits all believers from offering prayers for the disbelievers or idol worshippers regardless of whether they are dead or alive:

"Neither the prophet, nor those who believe shall ask forgiveness for the idol worshippers, even if they were their nearest of kin, once they realise that they are destined for Hell." 9:113

If they died as disbelievers or idol worshippers nothing and no prayer can change their fate:

"With regard to those who have deserved the retribution, can you save those who are already in Hell?" 39:19

Why worry when u can pray ...

I want

I want a husband/wife who will get mad at me when I miss a prayer...

I want a husband/wife who will pour cold water on me when I don't get up for Fajr Salah...

I want a husband/wife who will draw me closer to ALLAH, who will get upset when I lie, cheat and do bad things and anything wrong...

I want a husband/wife who will call me after every Maghrib Salah to read Qur'an together...

I want a husband/wife who will wake me up in the middle of the night for us to pray together and ask forgiveness from ALLAH!!!

DO U WANT THE SAME OR NOT???

DO NOT CELEBRATE THE BIRTH OF THE PROPHET SAW

REMINDER TO ALL MUSLIMS-!!!

Ameen Ya Rab'ul'Alimeen!

♦ Bismillah ir-Rahmaan ir-Raheem ♦

‪Ameen Ya Rab'ul'Alimeen!

For Allah Azzawajal is the only One who knows the Al-Ghaib and He is the only One who grants us respite!

The first row of Salat

The Prophet (Sallallähu alaihi wa sallam) said: “The first row of Salat amongst the men is most rewarding and the last is the least; whereas the last rows of Salat amongst the women are the most rewarding and the first the least.”

(Muslim)

A SUNNAH THAT INSPIRED A WOMAN TO ACCEPT ISLAM..

A SUNNAH THAT INSPIRED A WOMAN TO ACCEPT ISLAM..

I heard a very inspiring story recently about how following a single Sunnah can change the hearts of people. Thought of sharing it with all of you in hope that one day, we can be the cause of Hidayah (Guidance) in a Non-Muslims In sha Allah and Ameen!

A Muslim woman moved into a new house of which the upper story was occupied by an old woman. This Muslim woman, on the day of her arrival, prepared some food for herself and gave a bit of it to her neighbour upstairs. This elderly woman was so touched by this act of charity that she exclaimed: My daughter lives the storey ahead of me, and not once has she ever given me anything of what she cooked. And seeing as you are not my daughter, neither my family, nor from my own religion, but a newly moved neighbour, I’m so glad of your act of kindness.

The Muslim woman then said: In my religion, our Prophet (saw) has said: ‘‘While preparing gravy for food, some water be added if necessary, to dilute the dish so that the neighbour’s need could be satisfied”.

The elderly neighbour was so astounded by the beauty of Islam, that she immediately testified & pronounced the Shahadah! Masha Allah!

We never know how much our actions, however small or big we believe it to be, can change the total perception of a person. Let others know about how a small act of Sunnah can change the hearts of others. Let your actions speak! Follow Islam & the Sunnah of Nabi (saw) in every walk of your life & your actions may be the cause of guidance in someone! Hope this story inspired all of you. May Allah make use of us to propagate His Deen, enlighten others with the beauty of Islam and be the cause of Guidance in at least one person! Aameen!

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be on him)

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be on him) was asked about fasting on Monday, he said:” That is the day I was born and the day (the first Revelation) was sent down on me.”

(Muslim 2603)

While passing through one of the grave-yards

Once the Prophet (Sallallähu alaihi wa sallam), while passing through one of the grave-yards of Medina or Mecca heard the voices of two persons who were being tortured in their graves.

The Prophet (Sallallähu alaihi wa sallam) said, "These two persons are being tortured not for a major sin (to avoid)." The Prophet (Sallallähu alaihi wa sallam) then added, "Yes! (they are being tortured for a major sin).

Indeed, one of them never saved himself from being soiled with his urine while the other used to go about with calumnies (to make enmiy between friends).

The Prophet (Sallallähu alaihi wa sallam) then asked for a green leaf of a date-palm tree, broke it into two pieces and put one on each grave. On being asked why he had done so, he replied, "I hope that their torture might be lessened, till these get dried."
