10 reasons why Jesus is NOT God
1) God was not born, he has always existed.
2) No explicit verses in the old or new testaments about the “divine”
(Godly) characteristic of Prophet Jesus.
3) The Bible says that no one has seen God at any time.
4) The early Christians were still part of Judaism. Jesus would go to the temple and worship God.
5) Jesus ate, slept and prayed. God does not need to do this, he is Self-Sufficient
6) Jesus claimed that God’s knowledge is greater than his when he was asked about the Day of Judgement
7) In the Bible, Jesus clearly and explicitly stated that he is not God.
8) To be called a son of God is just a title in the Hebrew language and it does not mean that he is the actual son of God.
9) God does not change in His nature. He is not subject to time, hunger, fatigue and so on.
10) Jesus did not command anyone to worship him.
Muslims believe that Jesus (peace be upon him) according to the Holy Qur’an is a wonderful, humble, generous messenger of God who came down and revealed God’s words to his people, the people of Israel. Muslims do not believe that Jesus is God, nor they believe that God ever chose to come down to earth in a form of a man to die for our sins to purify us and forgive us.
And do not argue with the People of the Scripture except in a way that is best, except for those who commit injustice among them, and say, “We believe in that which has been revealed to us and revealed to you. And our God and your God is one; and we are Muslims [in submission] to Him.
